Wildcats dominate ground game again for fourth straight
WEIMAR – The Wildcats have officially surpassed their 3-7 record from last season just four games into the current season. Each of the four wins for Weimar have been in dominating fashion as they controlled the trenches on both sides of the ball; getting after the quarterback defensively and making huge holes for their running backs on offense. That trend continued against Snook as they hosted the Bluejays for their homecoming game. The Wildcats stuck to the gameplan as they reached the 50-point threshold for the third time this season in a 51-20 victory. 09/20/2023 12:00 AM

ALTAIR – The Rice Raiders picked up their second win of the season by swarming their opponents and not allowing the Fighting Rams to get any momentum offensively. Rice’s defensive effort was highlighted by their first score of the game: a safety after a botched snap by Kashmere and a tackle by OJ Johnson. That initial play was indicative of how the rest of the day would go for the Raider defense as they dominated while getting support from their offense on the way to a 3114 victory. 09/06/2023 12:00 AM
