Rice sending two more athletes to State

The Rice Raiders are sending two more athletes to compete in the State Track Meet, both field athletes.

Tatiana Mills and RJ Myers both punched their ticket to the State Track Meet after qualifying at the Reginal meet. Myers captured the Regional Championship in the shot-put event throwing a personal best 57 feet and 4 ¼ inches. Mills came in second in the discus throw throwing the discus 118 feet and two and a half inches.

Both athletes will take part in the State Track Meet at the University of Texas in Austin, TX looking to get their hands on more trophies.
