Lady Cards’ soccer falls in Bi-District playoff round

BAY CITY – The Lady Cards’ soccer team made it to the postseason after having the best season in the program’s history. At 17 wins, seven losses and four ties, their best record in history led to their highest district placement as well. Their defensive effectiveness continued with a solid performance against the Brazosport Lady Exporters in Round 1, but their offense could not support their efforts defensively as they just missed out on a few opportunities that stifled their efforts. After a hardfought game, the Lady Cards bowed out of the postseason in the Bi-District championship round after a 1-0 loss.
