The Columbus Cardinals competed at the District Meet this Monday, Oct. 9, in Yoakum and had three runners qualify for the Regional Meet.
Two of the Lady Cardinals and one Cardinal would post good enough times to qualify for the Regional Meet and all three finished in the top-10. Chloe Ross, Kaylea Foster and Will Fitzgerlad all qualified for the Regional Meet with Ross finishing in 3rd place and Foster finishing in 4th place of the girls’ race on Monday.
Fitzgerald will join his teammates at the Regional Meet as he finished in 7th place in the boys’ race in Yoakum.
The Reginal Meet will be held on Monday, Oct. 23, in Corpus Christi where Ross, Foster and Fitzgerlad will look to punch their ticket to the State Meet.
