Ladycat softball climbs up to second in district standings
The Weimar varsity softball team is in the midst of their strongest stretch of performances this season as they rode a 10-game win streak to the second-place spot in the district standings. After beating Shiner, the team just behind the Ladycats in the standings, as well as another strong win to end the week, Weimar took the runner up position with a great opportunity to shoot up to first place before the end of district season. The Ladycats may like their chances as part of their win streak included a 9-run shutout victory against the first-place Ganado Lady Indians. They will get a chance to potentially claim the top spot after their game against Ganado on Thursday, April 6.
