Hazard Mitigation Plan to be discussed
COLUMBUS – The Office of Emergency management will begin seeking feedback during the public opinion phase of the Hazard Mitigation Plan construction period. After seeking called in and written responses from county residents, the OEM will host a public meeting for residents to learn more about the current plan and to provide feedback.

Black History Banquet and fundraiser to be hosted at CHS
Columbus High School will soon play host to a local Black History Banquet to celebrate African Americans and their contributions to the arts and the country. The event is scheduled for March 2 at the Columbus High School cafeteria at 7 p.m.
