It’s Halloween Carnival time and SAS would like to invite the entire community to join in the fun! Starting at 5 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 26 there will be tons of excitement on the SAS school grounds at the 60th Annual SAS Halloween Carnival. The Costume Contest kicks off in the evening and is always full of fun and creative entries. Other fun activities include Country Store, Trick-or-Treat Lane, Cake Walk, Dracula’s Draw, Spin the Witch and Ring the Devil’s Neck plus other games. The silent and live auctions always have lots of great items to bid on as well. This year’s raffle has awesome prizes listed. The highlight of the evening will be the ever- popular Punk-N-Rock performance, which begins at the conclusion of the live auction. SAS 7th and 8th graders will entertain the crowd with their “versions” of many well-known songs. They have been working very hard over the last month on this show that never disappoints.
