CHS HONORS VETERANS THROUGH CHRISTMAS THEMED DEDICATION
Today the St. Anthony classes are celebrating Christmas with Mass, caroling, class lunches, a pep rally and an early release at 12:30 p.m. for the holiday break. Classes will resume on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024.
The Lil Einstein Learning Center in Columbus held their bike giveaway event on Saturday, Dec. 16 to give the parents and kids of Lil Einstein’s a significant gift for Christmas. The event featured the bikes, donuts and drinks, as well as pictures with the Grinch following receiving the new gifts.

COLUMBUS ELEMENTARY PERFORMS AT KATY MILLS MALL
Yesterday, St. Anthony 7th graders travelled to San Antonio to “remember the Alamo” while the 8th grade made their way underground to experience Natural Bridge Caverns. Tomorrow, the 2nd and 3rd grade will take a trip to Houston’s Main Street Theatre to watch a production of “Beauty and the Beast.” Speaking of productions, the St. Anthony One-Act Play cast has begun learning their lines and getting into character.

On Monday, Nov. 20, The Girl Friends group at the Boys and Girls Club of Columbus had a pre-Thanksgiving cooking lesson from Chef Raoul of Chef Raoul’s Catering. The chef and the girls prepared an Italian dinner complete with salad, cheese bread, spaghetti and meatballs and finished with a dessert of cannelloni.
