Columbus Elementary to hold registration event

The Columbus Elementary School is prepared to host the Pre-K and Kindergarten Round up registration event on Tuesday, April 2.

Parents can begin gathering at the school cafeteria at 1324 Bowie St. at 4:30 p.m. The event concludes at 7 p.m.

CES is hosting the event for parents of students who will be new to the school in the 2024-25 academic school year. Parents will need to bring documents of required records for the schools database before completing an online registration on site.

The required documents are:

• Government issued photo ID (Such as a Driver’s License or Passport)

• Child’s Birth Certificate

• Child’s social security card

• Proof of Residency

• Receipt of electric or water bill with service address and name of parent/guardian

• Voter’s registration card with current address
