Columbus Elementary to hold open house

Columbus Elementary School is set to host a morning open house for residents to tour the facilities available to the students and staff.

On Saturday, April 20, CES will host parents and concerned residents from 9 a.m. to noon as they tour the campus at 1324 Bowie St. and hear about the proposed bond that will be up for election in the spring.

There will be another session on Saturday, April 27.

For further bond information, witness the virtual town hall meeting discussing the bond as CES Principal Shana Neisner gives the presentation regarding the proposal to add a fifth-grade wing to CES and a Career and Technology Education Center for Columbus High School.

The presentation will be on the CES PTO Facebook page on Thursday, March 21 at 6 p.m.
