WEIMAR – The Friends of the Weimar Public Library will hold their annual book sale on Saturday, May 6 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Weimar Public Library, 1 Jackson Square.

LA GRANGE – Saturday, March 25, was an unforgettable day and night for the Turtle Wing Foundation and the community.

ROUND TOP – Round Top Publishers hosted their annual Designer Dinner on March 26 with a portion of proceeds supporting the Fayette Community Foundation.

EAGLE LAKE – On Thursday, April 27, the Eagle Lake Noon Lions Club welcomed two representatives from the Texas Department of Transportation’s Yoakum District: Ryan Simper is the engineer for Wharton Area of the Yoakum District and is in charge of construction and maintenance within four counties. Lucean Kuykendall is the Public Information Officer for all the 11 counties in the Yoakum District.

LA GRANGE – Annie McHugs’ workshop on her Picture Windows Reverse Applique was a huge success at the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild.

The Columbus High School Class of 1953 will celebrate their 70th reunion on Saturday, May 13 at the Pheonix Event Center, FM 219 between Columbus and Weimar.

WEIMAR – The Friends of the Weimar Public Library hosted their Second Annual Poetry Open Mic Night on Thursday, April 27 to celebrate National Poetry Month.
