Easter on the Bluff at Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill
This Saturday, March 30, Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill State Historic Sites will host Easter on the Bluff, celebrating one of the most beloved Bluff Schuetzenverein traditions. This year’s event will feature living history programs, children’s egg hunts, games, and an Easter fire. Attendees are welcome to bring their own picnics, beverages, chairs or blankets, and flashlights.

Staggering number of student athlete injuries can be curbed with doctor’s revolutionary exercise program
New research presented by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons has tallied the total number of high school athlete injuries across a four-year period at more than 5.2 million, much of which can be attributed to what Dr. Staten Medsker, Jr., aka “RocknDoc,” dubs “the three biggest postural pandemics of our society:” computer/tech neck, flat butt and short leg syndromes.

The Nonpoint Source Pollution Management in Texas – 2023 Annual Report is a jointly published report by the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. This report is a culmination of the State’s efforts to ensure and improve the quality of water in Texas. The 2023 report highlights annual load reductions of nitrogen, phosphorus, and sediment, and includes success stories achieved in various waterbodies across the state.

St. Anthony holds events during Holy Week
During this sacred Holy Week, St. Anthony School students and faculty are praying and reflecting on the Passion of Jesus Christ to remember His suffering and ultimate sacrifice. On Holy Thursday (Maundy Thursday), Saints will have a “washing of the feet” service at 8:15 a.m., and an early release at 1:15 p.m. There will be no school on Good Friday or Easter Monday.
