LA GRANGE – It was a wonderfully productive day for the CVQG, with 22 members in attendance at the Workshop Wednesday. Over 17 quilts were sandwiched (front, batting and backing), more quilts were cut, pieced and ironed. Quilts were readily available for anyone to pick up and finish for our ongoing Charity Quilts Project. Voter registration certificates set to expire at end of year, but renew automatically
New Voter Registration Certificates will be mailed out to all currently registered voters by Dec. 6. These new cards are yellow in color and are effective from Jan. 1, 2024 until Dec. 31, 2025. They will replace any previous Voter Registration Cards/Certificates. 11/29/2023 12:00 AM

Historical Career Fair planned for San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site
The San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site, operated by the Texas Historical Commission, will host a fun day of history and learning activities on Saturday, Dec. 2. Staff and volunteer living historians will demonstrate the trades, crafts and jobs performed by residents of the historic town during its heyday between 1823 and 1836.
