Linda Gail Schulz Lakich of Columbus,Texas, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend to many, passed away on March 23, 2024 in Schulenburg, Texas, surrounded by her family. She was born April 24, 1955, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Mildred and Bob Schulz, the second of five children. Her childhood was spent bonding with her four siblings and parents moving every few years for her father’s chemical engineering career across Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and Louisiana.

Ervin Adolph Mieth, Jr. was born on Sept. 10, 1944 in La Grange, Texas to Ervin Adolph Mieth, Sr. and Lola Hildegard Schweke Mieth. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Ervin attended the first six grades in New Ulm Public School, graduated from Columbus High School, and then attended Blinn College and Texas A&M University, where he graduated with a degree in marketing.
