During the Thursday, Feb. 29 meeting of the Eagle Lake Noon Lions Club, member, Rev. Margarita Arroyo welcomed guest speaker, Bret Cappleman, owner of the new Apple Ace Lumber at 200 Glen Flora Road in Eagle Lake. Cappleman invited the Lions and the community to visit the store for their Grand Opening celebration on March 1 and March 2. The entire store has been enlarged and renewed and stocked with a boutique as well as a large variety of hardware, tools, lumber and services such as glass and key cutting.
