New research presented by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons has tallied the total number of high school athlete injuries across a four-year period at more than 5.2 million, much of which can be attributed to what Dr. Staten Medsker, Jr., aka “RocknDoc,” dubs “the three biggest postural pandemics of our society:” computer/tech neck, flat butt and short leg syndromes.

This Saturday, March 30, Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill State Historic Sites will host Easter on the Bluff, celebrating one of the most beloved Bluff Schuetzenverein traditions. This year’s event will feature living history programs, children’s egg hunts, games, and an Easter fire.
