These threats include cedar bark beetles, Ips engraver beetles, Hypoxylon Canker disease and cedar rust fungi.

COLUMBUS – The Magnolia Belles have been a tradition in Columbus for generations as the high school–aged girls in town are taught and display the class often associated with the Belles. LA GRANGE – Wednesday morning’s flooding on Jan. 24 did not deter the members of the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild from attending the “Improv” Workshop with Michelle Lavender. Michelle is from HollyDee Quilts in Luling, Tx. She showed the many ways to transform scraps into quilts, using a “Wonky” cut and an open mind. Her unique way of cutting and piecing was intriguing to each of the members present.
