12-week Bible study starts this week
COLUMBUS – First Baptist Church is hosting a 12-week study of the book of Ephesians in the Bible starting on Feb. 15. The nearly two-hour session begins at 1 p.m.

Lutheran Churches of the Tri-County Cooperative Ministries, ELCA begin the Lenten Journey with Ash Wednesday Communion Services on Feb. 14. This year’s theme is the invitation of Jesus, “COME TO ME.” We come confessing our sins, seeking God’s healing, seeking guidance, looking to be fed, longing to belong, hoping to discover our purpose, and finding God as a source of strength in all our struggles.

Sharing God’s love: Columbus making a positive impact in Peru
Due to the generosity of the community as well as the members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Columbus, the St. Paul Peru team was able to raise over $10,000 during 2023 to send to its sister congregation, Iglesia Cristiana Camino de Santidad in Cañete, Peru. These funds were used to improve their church building.
