FRANCES JEAN FRYBERT
She was born on Oct. 20, 1936, to Adolf Karstedt and Christina (Fojtik) Karstedt in Weimar, Texas.
Frances worked as a certified nurses aid for many years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Frances enjoyed traveling anywhere and eating out. Her friend of many years, David Hornak, would often pick her up and take her riding.
Frances is survived by her daughter Verna Jean Breeding; grandson Chance Wade Breeding and wife Amanda; great grandchildren Casey Breeding and Austyn
Breeding; niece Sharon Alley; great niece Wendy Alley Mladenka; sisters Elsie Kelley and Clara Riggins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Adolf and Christina Karstedt; son Hollis Weeks; sister Minnie Bell, and brother Leo Karstedt.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas.
Funeral Service was held on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus. Bill Lattimore officiated.
Burial took place in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Columbus, Texas.
Pallbearers were Trenton Glueck, Micah Cardenas, James Cardenas, Donovan Alley, John Wayne Alley Jr., and David Cardenas.
