ANTONIO LOZANO GARCIA
Tony served as a beacon of light in Eagle Lake, Texas through civic leadership and community involvement. He leaves an immense community of support and love in Eagle Lake, Texas where his restaurant Taco Tony’s continues to serve the area for over 47 years. Tony retired from Headwaters Inc. in 2011 after 26 years in masonry sales. He supported the local annual fireworks show, won several BBQ competitions, and was a sponsor and member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the Trail Ride Committee for over 20 years. He enjoyed entertaining, traveling, singing, attending Astros games, hunting, fishing, riding his horses, and spending time with his family.
Antonio is preceded in death by his mother, Oliva Lozano Garcia. He is survived by his father, Antonio Garcia Fernandez, his sister Ralcida Navarro, and his brother, Fernando Garcia. He is also survived by his wife of 56 years, Rosa Elva Garcia. He is also survived by his daughter Martha Camareno and son-in-law Ben Camareno, daughter Veronica Garcia, and daughter Claudia Garcia. He is also survived by his son, Jose Antonio Garcia, and daughter-in-law Juana Macias Garcia. Antonio is also survived by his grandchildren Justin Garcia, Karina Castaneda, Jasmine Castaneda, Paul Camareno, Sarah Puga, Marco Puga, and Amber Lee Garcia, and great-grandson Elijah Lee Trevino.
