ROGER DALE PILSNER
Roger loved building things. He was always making something. He was an amazing carpenter. There really wasn’t much he couldn’t do. Roger also never met a stranger; he’d strike up a conversation with anyone who would listen. He loved hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.
Roger is survived by his wife of 57 years, Caroline Pilsner; children, Brenda Dantone and husband, Sammy of Houston, Texas,
Davy Pilsner and wife Amber of Columbus, Texas, Jodie Pilsner of Alleyton, Texas, and Travis Pilsner and wife Paula of Brenham, Texas; grandchildren, Jacob Ryan Dantone and wife Cadedra, Ta’lour Jo Pilsner, Aspen Elizabeth Pilsner, Savannah Ashlynn Pilsner, Addison Grace Pilsner, Ashton Olivia Pilsner, Jake McCrory and Makayla McCrory; and brother, David Pilsner and wife BB of Alleyton, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, August and Elsie Pilsner; and his brother, Johnny Mack Pilsner.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 2 p.m. at St. Roch Catholic Cemetery in Mentz with Deacon Chuck Glynn officiating. Burial followed in St. Roch Catholic Cemetery.
A reception at Pilsners Place took place after the service.
Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren.
