EDWIN BROWN JR.

EDWIN BROWN JR.
“Eddie” was raised with his younger sister Janet in the small town of Almeda, 11 miles south of Houston, Texas. He became an Eagle Scout, learned a great appreciation for music by playing clarinet in the Houston All City Band, and would go on to graduate in engineering from the University of Houston, while also being a member of Alpha Phi Omega, as well as the “Captain of the Cougar Guard”, the head mascot trainer for Shasta, the university’s mountain lion mascot.
Ed met the love of his life Terrie Lynn Davis in high school, and they would marry and have two boys, Scott and Kelly. Ed’s career flourished working with companies like Monsanto, CRSS, Brown & Root and finally KBR Halliburton.
Upon happily retiring, Ed and Terrie would move to Columbus, to build their dream home and help establish the small community at Simmons Lakes, where he was cherished as a friend and “great neighbor.”
Terrie passed away only 15 months prior to Ed, and both were in the home they loved, surrounded by friends and loved ones. He is survived and will be dearly missed by many friends, his sons and daughter-inlaw Casey, his grandchildren Ethan and Emily, and six great grandchildren.
Of all the good people that have come before him, or will come after, and to all those that knew him, he will always remain amongst the most “trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courte-
