He was born on July 23, 1940, in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Francis John Lind and Doris (Hayhurst) Lind. On August 20, 1993, Kraig and Nita (Willis) were married.

Kraig worked as a manager for Walmart for many years before retiring.

Kraig and Nita enjoyed spending time with their family, friends and loved their church, the Columbus Family Worship Center.

Kraig is survived by his wife, Nita Lind; daughter, Kime Doerk and husband Brian; sons, Kraig A. Lind, II, Jimmy Burge and Loyd Bouton; sister, Susan MacKenna; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Debbie Willis; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 10 at 1:00 p.m. at the Columbus Family Worship Center, 3231 Columbus Loop in Columbus.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Columbus Family Worship Center would be greatly appreciated.
