ACIE MARION BUBAK
ACIE MARION BUBAK

He was born July 22, 1934, to Herman Ernst Bubak and Bernice Dorthea (Schultz) Bubak in Cat Spring, the youngest of five children. He married Wanell “Nell” Davis on June 21, 1953, and lived in Cat Spring his entire life. He and Nell raised four children while Acie worked as a farmer and rancher, and as a machinist at WKM Industries in Stafford.
Some of his greatest joys were spending time with his seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and his Brahman cattle. He never missed any of the kids’ special events or sports games. He loved working with his cattle and spent hours a day riding through the pastures.
Acie is survived by his three daughters: Melinda Jackson of Trinidad, Leslie Goldsmith of Catskill, New York and Carol Bubak of Point Venture; his only son Raymond Bubak and wife Donna of Columbus; sister-in-law Linda Bubak of Sealy; grandchildren Lissa Goldsmith Paolino, Justin Bustamante, Laura Goldsmith Hansen, Clayton Bubak, Lauren Bubak Pflughaupt, Allison Bubak Heard and Logan Bubak; great- grandchildren Luca Paolino, Poppy and Copeland Bustamante, Breck and Kade Hansen, Oakley, Callum, and Asher Bubak, Colt and Aubrey Pflughaupt, Brinlee and Hunter Heard, and Charlotte Bubak; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Bernice Bubak; wife Nell Bubak; sister Waldine Bubak; brother Everett Bubak; sister and brother-in-law Gladys and Kermit Luedecke; sister and brother-in-law Eva Nell Cinadr and Daniel Dittert; son-in-law Sam Jackson.
