CLARENCE EDWARD HALFMANN

Clarence Edward Halfmann, 82, of Frelsburg, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 19, in Columbus.

He was born on September 24, 1942, to Albert Henry Halfmann and Tonie Lydia (Canik) Halfmann in Frelsburg.

Clarence worked as a machinist for forty years in Weimar. He spent four years in the Air Force.

He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Frelsburg.

Clarence enjoyed ranching, hunting, fishing, and building projects in his shop.

Clarence is survived by his daughter Roxann Stevenson and husband Richard of Frisco; son Clinton Halfmann of Frelsburg; sisters Margaret Kasmiersky and husband Raymond of Sealy, Linda Cernoch and husband Leon of Katy, and Elaine Wavra and husband Donnie of Columbus; grandchildren James Stevenson, Eric Stevenson, and Sarah Stevenson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Tonie Halfmann.

Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Frelsburg.

Fr. Bob Knippenberg officiated.

Visitation was at church from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with a parish rosary at 9:30 a.m.

The burial took place in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Frelsburg.

The pallbearers were Caleb Darr, Edward Kozel, Greg Brown, L.J. Korenek, Monroe Wostarek, and Michael Kasmiersky.
