She was born on January 15, 1936, to Simon Selma Sinclair and Mary Elizabeth (Owen) Sinclair in Eagle Lake, Texas. On June 23, 1973, she married Michael Buford Cooper.

Grace worked as a school librarian for Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg for many years.

She was a member of Lissie United Methodist Church, Alpha Delta Pi, DAR, Colonial Dames 17th Century, and many other organizations.

Grace enjoyed genealogy, antiquing, and volunteering.

Grace is survived by her husband Michael Cooper; daughter Elizabeth Sue Mann of Eagle Lake; son Jack Mann of Houston; sister Elizabeth Sinclair Draper of Sugar Land.

She was preceded in death by her parents Simon and Mary Sinclair; son Scott Sinclair Mann.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Lissie United Methodist Church in Lissie, Texas. Stan Warfield officiated. A visitation was held that Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.

A burial took place at Lakeside Cemetery in Eagle Lake, Texas.
