BRENDA TILL-TELTSCHIK
BRENDA TILL-TELTSCHIK

She was born on May 9, 1950, to Fritz A. Wittmann and Rosemary Woody Wittmann in Bastrop, Texas.
After graduating from La Grange High School, she married the first love of her life, Hilliard Till on July 27, 1968. They spent the next 35 years building a life in Weimar. Together they had two daughters. They spent much of
■ TILL-TELTSCHIK, 7 their time with family and friends making so many memories along the way. On May 6, 2003, Hilliard suffered a massive heart attack and died at the age of 57.
Brenda worked hard for 35 years at Utex Industries. She worked in several departments throughout the years and was very particular about what she did. One day while on break, she met the second love of her life, Clarence A. Teltschik. Clarence also worked for Utex for many years but in a different building and area.
In conversation they learned they were both dealt with similar situations in life, losing their spouses at an early age. Clarence and Brenda married on August 6, 2006, in Columbus where they resided for 18 years. In 2012 they both retired.
Brenda was a very hard-working woman. She couldn’t stand watching other people work and not lend a helping hand. Her passion was cooking. She didn’t have to follow a recipe to create a delicious dish. You would never go hungry when she was around.
One of Brenda’s favorite times of the year was Thanksgiving. She would look forward to the holiday so much that she would start asking the family in July what their plans were for the holiday. She was known for her famous dressing. Everybody showed up for the Thanksgiving meal because we knew she would send a package of frozen dressing home with each of us.
Brenda loved the outdoors and jumping in the vehicle with no destination in mind. Clarence and Brenda spent a lot of time checking out different eateries during their adventures.
Brenda’s greatest joy was her family. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed going to their sporting events, especially their baseball, softball and volleyball games.
She is survived by her husband Clarence Teltschik; two daughters, Shannon Rosenauer and husband Ronald and Shelly Munsch and husband Charles; three stepsons, Eric Teltschik and wife Theresa, Aaron Teltschik and wife Shandi, and David Teltschik and wife Amanda; stepdaughter Joy Ragusa; sister Patricia Gabbard and husband Carl; grandchildren Justin Rosenauer and wife Chelsea, McKenna Higgins and husband Grayson, Amberlee Munsch and boyfriend Rhett Ahrens; great-grandchildren Cooper Rosenauer and Hudson Higgins; as well as numerous nieces.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, and her sister Constance Peacock Rutherford.
The family received friends on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus. A rosary was held at 10:30 a.m.
A private family graveside service was held at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Weimar.
