She was raised in El Campo and graduated from El Campo High School in 1960. On September 21, 1968, Annie Mae married Donald Mahalitc and they enjoyed 56 years together. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked in the banking industry for 52 years.

In her younger days she enjoyed playing volleyball, shooting pool, roller skating and dancing. She loved working in her flower beds and mowing the yard and spoiling her cats and dogs.

Annie Mae is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Mahalitc; sons Heath Mahalitc, and Neal Mahalitc and wife Lindsay; grandchildren Bailey, Courtney and Cayson Mahalitc. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lorine Overton, and niece Sandy Overton.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Rosary service. A private burial will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
