STELLA LORRAINE DALEY

Stella Lorraine Daley, born Stella Lorraine Trotti on May 27, 1940, in Pineville, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024, at the age of 84. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many throughout her years.

Lorraine was married to the love of her life, W.C. “Buddy” Daley, with whom she built a beautiful family and shared a lifetime of love and memories. She was the daughter of Ila Vernon Trotti and Thelma Trotti, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her loving family, who were her greatest joy and source of pride. This includes her sons, Lonny Daley and his spouse, Linda Daley of Columbus, TX, and Ronny Daley and his spouse, David Jessee of Columbus, TX. She also leaves behind two other devoted daughters-in-law, Sheila Daley of Brenham, TX, and GiGi Neal Daley- Pettit of Schulenburg, TX.

Lorraine is also survived by her sister Yvonne Riggs of Bedford, TX, her brother Carl Trotti and spouse Judy Trotti of Belton, TX, and her sisterin- law Reba Trotti of Hockley, TX. She cherished her grandchildren: Stephanie Stinebower and spouse Forrest Stinebower, Logan Daley and spouse Casey Daley, Lacie Poenitzsch and spouse Caleb Poenitzsch, Tiffany Gandara and spouse Nick Gandara, and Barbara Daley. She adored her great-grandchildren: Harper Daley, Lonny Daley, Mitchell Gandara, Kennedy Poenitzsch, and Walker Poenitzsch.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, I.V. and Thelma Trotti; her husband, W.C. “Buddy” Daley; her son, Larry Daley; her sister, Charlene Mendoza; and her brother, Donnie Trotti.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor at Hound Song Brewing Company on October 15, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to come together to remember her spirit, share stories, and celebrate her incredible life.
