In 2017, Ron suffered a severe traumatic brain injury which altered the course of his life. Due to the injury, he was inflicted with multiple medical complications. In the end, his body and brain were just too tired, and he was called home to rest.
Ron is survived by his mom Shelley Williamson; stepdad Robert Williamson; dad Ronald Smith; sisters Alyssa Morgan (Jake) and Sara Smith; nephew Harvey Morgan; grandparents Susie and Arthur Kollmann, Diane Tsampikou, and Virgie and Wayne Williamson; aunts and uncles Michelle and Tracy Kollmann, Heather and Todd Kollmann, Mary and Chris Frenzel, Diane and Chawn Paige, Raymond and Chaundra Smith, along with numerous cousins.
Ron is also survived by his very best friends Jesus Guerrero, Raul Olvera, Caleb Garrison, and Salvador Barcenas.
Ron was preceded in death by several family members, all of whom are now listening in amusement to his ever so passionate details of his favorite cat and candies.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Columbus, Texas.
