He was born on September 12, 1934, to Henry Joseph Rabel, Sr. and Emma Kubicek Rabel in Eagle Lake, Texas. On June 3, 1961, he married Clara Belle Johnson. Henry worked as a construction iron worker for many years. He spent time in the Army from 1957 to 1963. He enjoyed square dancing.

Henry is survived by his sons Keith Rabel and wife Connie of Schulenburg and Wayne Rabel and wife Linda of Katy; sister Susan “Suzie” Mazak of La Grange; grandchild Samantha Huser and husband Chris; great-grandchild Grayson Huser. He was preceded in death by his wife Clara Belle Rabel; parents Henry and Emma Rabel; brother August “Pete” Rabel; brother- in-law Jerry Mazak.

A visitation was held on Sunday, August 4, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas. Graveside Service was held on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Cheetham Cemetery in Sheridan, Texas. Clark Peterson officiated. The burial took place in Cheetham Cemetery in Sheridan, Texas. Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice.
