She was born on August 30, 1958, to Alois Frenzel and Rosemary (Neuendorff) Frenzel in Sealy, Texas. On April 8, 1978, she married Kevin H. Oppermann.

Grace worked as a salesclerk for Voelkel’s Drug Store & Gifts for many years. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Grace enjoyed cooking, crafting and flower gardening.

Grace is survived by her sisters Marjorie Frenzel of Bernardo, Edna Venghaus of Columbus, Mary Torres and husband Jesse of Weimar, and Laura Walla and husband Glen of Columbus; brothers Stanley Frenzel and wife Shirley of Columbus, James Frenzel and wife Mary Lou of Rock Island, and David Frenzel and wife Bernadette of Columbus; sisterin- law Belita Hoffman of the Eagle Lake area.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kevin Oppermann; parents Alois and Rosemary Frenzel; brothers Richard Frenzel and Raymond Frenzel; brothers-in-law Herby Oppermann and Gregory Venghaus.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas. A rosary was held at 7:00 PM. A private graveside service at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery was also held. Memorials may be given to Bernardo Volunteer Fire Department, 2845 FM 949, Cat Spring, TX, 78933.
