KATHY ELAINE KNEBLIK
She was born on Feb. 5, 1957 to Victor Moeller and DeLois (Suchadoll) Moeller in Columbus, Texas. On July 11, 1976 she married the love of her life, James Arnold Kneblik.
Kathy’s hard work ethic started at a very young age working at the Moeller Feed Mill throwing feed sacks, driving tractors and working cattle with her dad. She had a professional career in banking and office management for many years.
Kathy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved and adored her husband, children, and grandchildren and enjoyed every minute she was able to spend with them. She would rearrange her whole schedule to accommodate and help her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.
Kathy never knew a stranger. She enjoyed meeting new people everywhere she went and always had a smile on her face.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Fayetteville. Her faith in God was one of the most important things in her life. She was active in her faith and in the church.
Kathy enjoyed music and singing. Her all-time favorite movie was The Sound of Music and she enjoyed singing along while watching the movie with her family.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Kneblik; son Bradley Kneblik and wife Laine; daughters Lori Grissom and husband Jerry and Chelsea Bubak and husband Clayton Bubak; sisters Marilyn Kocurek and husband Joe, JoAnn Zapalac, Debbie Dudensing and husband Royce, and Teresa Moeller and friend Gary Grayson; sister-in-law Carolyn Canik and husband Al Gene; mother-in-law Evelyn Kneblik; grandchildren Trenton Kneblik, Braxton Kneblik, Colson Geesee, Kennedy Keller, Reed Keller, Brandon Grissom, Bailey Grissom, Ridge Hale, Keegan Grissom, Oakley Bubak, Callum Bubak and Asher Bubak, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Victor and DeLois Moeller, father-in-law Arnold Kneblik, brother David Moeller, grandparents Ben and Annie Moeller and Hubert and Lucy Suchadoll.
Kathy’s family would like to thank the caregivers at TLC, specifically Princetta, Ericka, and Brittney who cared for and loved Kathy over the last 8 months, as well as Dr. Bart Klaus who cared for Kathy over the last several years. Visitation was held on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas. A rosary followed at 7 p.m.
Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church in Fayetteville, Texas. Fr. Steve Sauser officiated. Visitation at church was from 9-10 a.m. with a rosary starting at 9:30 AM.
Burial took place in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Frelsburg, Texas.
Pallbearers were Jason Hahn, Jonathan Dudensing, Chase Zapalac, Aaron Canik, Nathan Bookout and Jospeh Glueck. Honorary Pallbearers were all of her grandchildren.
