LINDA BINDER
LINDA BINDER
Linda graduated from Schulenburg High School in 1961. After high school, Linda took a year off and traveled before deciding to attend cosmetology school. She graduated in 1963.
She then met the love of her life, Daniel Lee Binder, and married him in August 1965.
Linda enjoyed riding horses, going on trail rides, boating and fishing, even though she would never eat what she caught. She enjoyed staying home and raising her boys. After her children grew up, she decided to open up Linda’s Beauty Shop in Weimar where she entertained clients with all her jokes.
Her biggest love was reading. She had a passion for books like no other. Linda’s true gift in life was telling jokes and making people laugh. She never met a stranger and had a way of always making you feel important.
There was never a moment when she didn’t have a good attitude, even through the difficult times.
Her husband and parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include her three sons, Bruce Binder (Shannon), Kalan Binder (fiance Bre McWilliams) and Wade Binder; and seven grandchildren, Quayde (Leah), Cole, Kendall, Kennedy, Colt, Camden and Falon Binder.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, at Henneke Funeral Home, 1515 Montezuma St., Columbus, with Steve Garrett officiating. Visitation is 1-2 p.m.
Burial will follow in Weimar Masonic Cemetery in Weimar, Texas.
Pallbearers are Bruce, Kalan, Wade, Quayde, Cole, Colt and Brad Binder, Kevin Coufal and Jeremy Eden.
