Free pasture weed identification program at library

WEIMAR – The Friends of the Weimar Library and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office of Colorado County invites the public to attend a free program about weed identification strategies and tips on May 26.

WEIMAR – The Friends of the Weimar Library and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office of Colorado County invites the public to attend a free program about weed identification strategies and tips on May 26.

The program begins at 10 a.m. and concludes at noon.

County Extension Agent Laramie Kettler will present at the Weimar Public Library, 1 Jackson Square. The presentation will also cover common weeds found in local pastures and their control.

Those who have a pasture weed that they would like to have identified are asked to bring a fresh sample or a high quality picture.

Attendees are encouraged to RSVP to the Weimar Public Library at 979725- 6608.
