The RDF would like to thank HeartBrand Beef, Lulu’s of Round Top, and Celebrations! by Bistro 108 for holding dinner events in “Be Kind February.” Heartbrand Beef donated Akaushi New York Strip steaks to the restaurants, which were prepared by their master chefs. Celebrations! held their dinner on Saturday, Feb. 18, and Lulu’s served their first dinner on Sunday, Feb. 19, and continued to serve RDF dinners until they ran out of steak.

Celebrations! raised $2,600 and Lulu’s raised $1,375 for the RDF. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and RDF would like to recognize the owners of these three companies, Susan Kuehler and Mike Mc-Cathern of Celebrations!, Cinda and Armando Palacios of Lulu’s, and Jordan Beeman of HeartBrand, for partnering in this effort. The restaurants would also like to thank those who purchased dinners.

The RDF is committed to raising awareness and providing support to those in need. The RDF encourages everyone to practice self-care, send a text, make a call, visit a loved one, or share powerful stories to ensure everyone has at least one person (Red Door) in their close circle of friends, family and peers.

For more information about the RDF, visit the Fayette Community Foundation website at faycofoundation. com.
