The May 6 election was a county wide, joint election with all Colorado County school districts holding a board election and the City of Eagle Lake holding an Alderman election.
Of Colorado County’s 14,242 registered voters, the Elections Office reports that a total of 1,088 cast in person and mail in ballots for the Columbus, Eagle Lake and Weimar elections. There are 3 provisional ballots pending, 9 mail ballots that have not been returned or pending voter action, and a total of 1,100 in person and mail in ballots that have been counted.
It is important to note these results for Colorado County votes are unofficial and are subject to change as information is verified after Election Day.
