LA GRANGE – Annie McHugs’ workshop on her Picture Windows Reverse Applique was a huge success at the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild.
The guild said 14 guild members were in attendance and used the new tool to make McHugs’ Orange Peel Patterns and learned several of her “tricks of the trade.”
The guild said the various colors and patterns that each member brought to assemble for the workshop was outstanding. The Best Little Quilt Show 2024 may have a run of Orange Peel Quilts to display, according to a release.
The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl St., Room A East, LaGrange, Texas 78945.
Guild meetings begin at 6 p.m. on even months and 10 a.m. on odd months. The meetings are open to the public.
