ROUND TOP — Round Top Publishers hosted their annual Designer Dinner on March 26 with a portion of proceeds supporting the Fayette Community Foundation.

According to a release, the sold-out event, presented by Benjamin Moore with special guests, designer Suzanne Kasler and architect Bobby McAlpine, raised $800 for FCF.

“FCF is so grateful to receive this donation from Round Top Publishers. Their continued support of the work we do with all the nonprofits throughout our area is very appreciated,” Susannah Mikulin, executive director of the FCF said. “Round Top Publishers’ love of community and charitable initiatives are an incredible gift to the residents who choose to call this rural region of Texas ‘home’.”

The dinner was held at The Halles in Round Top and consisted of a French colonial feast designed by A Fare Extraordinaire and highlighted the Colors of Round Top curated by Mary Lambrakos.

“With so many organizations in need, we were a bit overwhelmed with options,” Associate Publisher Lizzy Welch said. “By choosing Fayette Community Foundation we knew our donation would be in good hands and distributed to whichever local charities needed it the most.”

Since 2001, Fayette Community Foundation has acted as a bridge between stakeholders, resources, and organizations who work diligently to meet the rural region’s changing needs, according to a release. FCF is a 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the quality of life in Fayette County by providing philanthropic and educational services that engage and empower individuals, nonprofit organizations, and collaborative networks.
