Weid competes at District 11 Livestock Judging Contest

On Saturday, April 22, Colorado County 4-Her, Kelsey Wied competed in the District 11 Livestock Judging Contest in College Station.

She was able to evaluate eight classes of livestock including market hogs, market sheep, market goats, breeding ewes, market steers and breeding heifers.

Kelsey was 12th high point individual in a competitive group of juniors, according to a release. She was also 10th high point junior in the Sheep and Goat Division and 11th high point junior in the Beef division.

The Colorado County 4-H organization thanked Wied for representing Colorado County well at the contest.
