SCHULENBURG – The Turtle Wing Foundation’s Jack Hooper Day at the Park is right around the corner.
The public is invited to come out to Wolters Park on May 6 to participate in some of the events the foundation has set up.
Attendees can register today for the 5K Fun Run and/or cornhole tournament or come out and play in the free kids zone, where Parents as Teachers is hosting their Art in the Park. There will also be bounce houses, a train, and other activities. Kids can play while parents compete in the cornhole tournament with a cash prize.

The Turtle Wing Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the mission of helping individuals with learning challenges reach their full potential. Last year, due to the generosity of others, the foundation said it was able to help over 250 individuals and their families in our local area, by providing funds to afford services such as therapy, counseling, day hab, inclusive dance, and more. Hundreds more were impacted by the foundation’s education and advocacy efforts.
