Elections Office records 54 voters for first day of early voting

Early voting started April 24 and the Colorado County Elections Office has calculated the following stats from the first day: 54 total people voted – 30 at the Colorado County Annex, 6 at the Weimar City Hall, and 18 at the Eagle Lake Community Center.

Early voting started April 24 and the Colorado County Elections Office has calculated the following stats from the first day: 54 total people voted – 30 at the Colorado County Annex, 6 at the Weimar City Hall, and 18 at the Eagle Lake Community Center.

Early voting is weekdays through Tuesday, May 2. All three locations are open 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The Elections Office reminds the public that they can vote at any early voting location.

The address for each location is Colorado County Annex, 318 Spring St., Suite 101, Columbus; Weimar City Hall, 106 E. Main St; and Eagle Lake Community Center, 100 N. Walnut.

Election Day is Saturday, May 6. It will be joint election. All Colorado County school districts are holding a board election and the City of Eagle Lake will hold an Alderman election.
