Columbus Garden Club has been having plant sales for over 30 years. Regena Williamson and Sandy Barrett are experienced garden club members who are looking forward to talking to you about plants. They are having the plant sale on Saturday, April 29 at Brookshire Bros.
Many customers look forward to the sales because they know that they will find plants that they won’t find in the local nurseries. And, they may find some that they remember seeing in their grandmother’s gardens. You remember, the plants that came back year after year and filled that sunny spot in the front yard or that shady place by the swing.
Your landscaping needs are unique to your yard depending on whether you have lots of sun or lots of shade. You may want your landscaping to include plants for pollinators. Whatever your needs are, you will probably find just what you are looking for at the Columbus Garden Club Plant Sale.
The sale begins Saturday at 8 a.m. Plan to come early because many regular customers know some of the very best plants get bought right away. And you will want to allow time to talk to the garden club members about the different plants you will find at the sale. Garden club members have been gardening for a very long time.
Also, you will find home baked cakes, pies and cookies that you simply cannot resist. And for the last couple of years some of the best cooks in Columbus have been making frozen casseroles that you can take home and pop into the oven after your busy day shopping for beautiful plants.
Come by Brookshire Bros. on Saturday morning for a fun shopping experience and a great time enjoying talking about plants and gardening with the ladies of the garden club.
