RENE COOPER

Rene Cooper is running for re-election to the city council in Eagle Lake. Rene is a registered nurse and has been practicing for the past 54 years. She is a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Rene stated that she was born to be a public servant both professionally and publicly. There are some projects that are in the works for Eagle Lake. One improvement has been the replacement of the water meters to help with the calculation of citizens’ water bills.

We have been looking and identified streets in Eagle Lake that are in need of repair. We have a street improvement program, which will require millions of dollars to be done correctly and will take a bond issue to be passed to correct this issue. There are a lot of things that can be done to improve the lives of our citizens, but we need the help of everybody in the community to make this happen. You are a valued member of this community and we need your help and support. So, on May 6, reelect Rene Cooper to the city council. Thank you.
