SCHULENBURG – The Turtle Wing Foundation will be hosting their 12th Annual Jack Hooper Day at the Park on May 6 at Wolters Park.
The foundation said this is a special year, as the foundation has teamed up with Parents as Teachers to bring their “Art in the Park” to the event, which means even more fun for families.
The foundation will kick off the day with a 5K Fun Run Saturday Morning (sign up at getmeregistered. com/Jack-HooperDay5k), followed by fiesta-themed arts and crafts put on by PAT, bounce houses, train rides, music, and more.
Attendees will also have a chance to participate in the cornhole tournament ($50 per team to register, cash prize for top two teams).
