At Columbus Community Hospital, we believe that total wellness is more than simply receiving care when you are sick. Building a healthier future with a well-rounded approach to wellness is key to developing better habits that will lead to a healthier life.
The hospital’s newest facility, the Columbus Wellness Center, is a state-of-the-art facility that offers expansive resources to better serve the total health of everyone in the Columbus community.
The Wellness Center is located at 107 Shult Drive in Columbus and offers expanded physical therapy resources, exercise equipment, walking track, pool, physician office space, and community education classrooms. We have regular group exercise classes to meet all fitness levels.
The Wellness Center also offers wellness programs such as the Diabetes Prevention Program, which is designed to help those at risk for developing type 2 diabetes, and the newly launched Be Well Weight Loss Program. Be Well is led by a registered dietitian and integrates nutrition, fitness, and wellness to help participants achieve their total health goals. The welcoming group setting celebrates, encourages, and supports all participants in their journey to better health. The Be Well Program meets weekly on Mondays in the Columbus Wellness Center Community Room from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
The Columbus Community Hospital Wellness Center is open to the community, and monthly memberships are available. For more information about memberships and the programs offered, visit ColumbusCH.com/wellness or call 979-493-7592. We look forward to welcoming you!
