Litzmann graduates from SHSU

On Friday, Dec. 9, 2022 at 2 p.m., Sam Houston State University graduate student Zane William Frybert Litzmann received his Master of Arts in History at Commencement ceremonies held at Sam Houston State University’s Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum.

On Friday, Dec. 9, 2022 at 2 p.m., Sam Houston State University graduate student Zane William Frybert Litzmann received his Master of Arts in History at Commencement ceremonies held at Sam Houston State University’s Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum.

Joining in to honor Zane were his parents, Mark and Barbara Frybert Litzmann, brother Matthias Litzmann and several close friends. Everyone celebrated at a dinner hosted by the family at the Brazos Proper Texas Kitchen Restaurant in College Station on Dec. 9.

Recently, joined by family and friends Zane was the guest of honor at a movie and lunch graduation party at the Star Cinema Grill in College Station Saturday, March 18 hosted by his mom, dad, and brother, Matthias.

Zane is a 2019 Texas A&M University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He was the 2022 Scholarship recipient of the Galveston Historical Foundation’s Edward L. Protz Historical Preservation Internship. A graduate of Sealy High School, Zane was a member of the Class of 2014. Zane is the son of Mark W. and Barbara Frybert Litzmann of Sealy, and the grandson of Kay Frybert and the late Joe F. Frybert of Eagle Lake, and the late Ruby and Elton Litzmann of Alleyton.
