MARTHA BOWSER HASTEDT

Martha Bowser Hastedt, born Jan. 2, 1938, died April 1, 2023 after a long illness. She and Robert were married Nov. 28, 1959. She is survived by husband Robert, sister-inlaw Jan Fry of San Antonio and Jan’s sons, Stephen, Casey and Joel and their families.

Martha Bowser Hastedt, born Jan. 2, 1938, died April 1, 2023 after a long illness. She and Robert were married Nov. 28, 1959. She is survived by husband Robert, sister-inlaw Jan Fry of San Antonio and Jan’s sons, Stephen, Casey and Joel and their families.

Also, nephew Stuart and wife BeLinda Hastedt of Columbus and their son Taylor and his wife Lauren and their daughter Kelsey, daughter Addy Jo and husband J.P. Feider and Cullen Hastedt.

She is also survived by her sister Barbara Pulaski of Lufkin and her daughter Allison Peeler and family of Dallas.

Martha taught English in Austin high schools for 38 years. She received numerous awards for teaching excellence and was proud of her students’ success in their chosen careers. Many stayed in touch to thank her again and again.
