BELLVILLE – The Columbus Lady Cards’ golf team got another strong performance early last week as every golfer who competed in the meet came in with a score of 110 or lower. With a team score of 422, the Lady Cards claimed second place while being led by a golfer who finished in the top three of the overall standings.
Jordyn Templeton led the way for the Lady Cards with one of only three sub-100 scores on the day. She came in with a score of 98 which tied for the second- best score. She claimed the third-place spot after a playoff to decide the final standings. Katharine Burnett came in with the next best score for the Lady Cards, punching in a 107 on the course. Kambrie Toppel, Thea Schobel and Summer Adams followed right behind Burnett with scores of 108, 109 and 110 respectively to round out the team’s performance.
