Weimar High School held a career fair in the school gym on Wednesday, April 16, showcasing careers from multiple organizations from across the county.
Among the organizations in attendance were the Colorado County Habitat for Humanity, Prosperity Bank, Columbus Community Hospital, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Weimar Police Department, the Colorado County Sheriff’s Office and more.
WHS students got to walk around and learn more about the different organizations to see if they had any interest in pursuing career paths in the various different fields on display at the Career Fair.

Students were given the opportunity to talk to employees at the Columbus Community Hospital to gauge their interest in pursuing a career in the medical field.

Law enforcements organizations, the Weimar Police Department and Colorado County Sheriff’s Office, both had booths for students to walk up to and gauge their interests in pursuing a career in law enforcement. Courtesy photos
